I finally did it! I sat down, but only to be proactive this time. So here goes my “long overdo” blog post:

We are now half-way through pregnancy!! We can finally identify the baby when speaking about her to others. Yes, we are having another GIRL! Woohoooo!! To be honest, we can’t imagine it to be any other way. Josephine gets herself a best friend for life and we have the honor of raising a girl gang. Growing up with two sisters, I cherish and understand the value of sisterhood. Like always, God knows exactly what we need for our family to be a complete even number. My husband is officially outnumbered not once - but twice! He is absolutely head over heels about being a girl dad. He will be more than fine as long as we have at least one son down the road, haha.

Hello again and Merry Christmas!

To be completely honest, this has been a great year for our family. Because of God’s mercy toward us, we have had an incredible year filled with so many great new experiences and then memories. We are overflowing with gratitude that brings us tears of joy.

Honestly, no, time hasn’t flown by fast. Getting married four years ago feels like forever ago. I’m certain we feel this way because we’ve created immeasurable memories that it would be impossible to fit them into a smaller time frame. And I’m glad it works this way.

Over the course of human history, being a true person of faith has always been a challenge. It’s a constant spiritual battle that we have to face every single day. Long before Christ, men of God would fear Him because He would appear and show power in action. They lived by the commandments religiously. During Christ’s days on earth, followers got the privilege of sharing the same air as Jesus while observing Him in real life. When religion got in the way of mercy, Jesus broke the rules. It baffled the people and divided the spiritual from the religious. Although God always remains the same, the way Christians approach their faith is quite different than it used to be. All modern Christians have to focus on is having a friendship/relationship with Jesus.

What is matcha? A heavenly moment in your mouth that leaves you better off with every sip that you take. No, but really - matcha doesn’t only taste amazing but it’s also high in antioxidants and health benefits. In my experience, my body doesn't do well with high doses of caffeine. That is why I can’t do coffee. Coffee makes me jittery and anxious. Thankfully, matcha is a gentler source of caffiene. It gradually builds my energy and lasts longer without the “crash”. I enjoy the pleasure of a delicious matcha latte as it does wonders for my body. It’s a win-win!

Who doesn’t cherish photoshoot sessions with their entire family in it? Although “behind the scenes” with a child isn’t always as pretty as the results, it can still be manageable. When shooting with a child, I’ve compiled a few tips and tricks on how to get that perfect shot (results may vary). We personally love taking photos of/with our daughter. Along the way, we’ve learned how to make her cooperate. Sometimes it can take an entire team to make it work. Let’s get started!
